Learning from the earth

jiu dharatee dheeraj dharamu masakeenee moorhee.

As the earth is embodiment of continence, dharma and humility,

sabhadoon neeveen hoi rahee tis manee n koorhee.

It remains under the feet and this humility is true and not false.

koeI hirmMdru krY ko krY ArUVI ]

koee harimandaru karai ko karai aroorhee.

Somebody constructs temple of god on it and some gather rubbish heaps on it.

jayhaa beejai so lounai phal anb lasoorhee.

Whatever is sowed is got accordingly whether is be a mango or lasuri, a glutinous fruit.

jIvidAW mir jIvxw juiV gurmuiK jUVI ]

jeevadiaan mari jeevanaa jurhi guramoukhi joorhee.

While being dead in life i.e. deleting ego from the self, the gurmukhs join gurmukhs in the holy congregation.

They become the dust of the feet of the holy men, which is trampled under the feet.
