thabasam thoo jehaan raa hayaath mee bakhashadha

O Guru! Your beautiful smile bestows and instills life to the world,

krwr dIdwie swihb-idlW pur-iesrwr ] 36 ] 2 ]

karaar dheedhaae saahiba-dhilaan pura-eisaraar || 36 || 2 ||

And, this gives tranquility and stability to the mystical eyes of the saints and Pirs.? (36) (2)

baghair eishak khudhaa heech eishak kaaeim neesatha

There is no ever-lasting love or devotion other than the love of Waaheguru,

baghair aashik maaualaa hamaa fanaah pindhaar || 36 || 3 ||

And, one should deem everyone other than the devotees of Waaheguru as destructible. (36) (3)

behar tharaf k nigaahae kunee ravaan bakhashee

In whichever direction you look, you bestow and instil new life and spirit,

nigaahi thusath k dhar har tharaf bavadh jaanabaar || 36 || 4 ||

It is your vision only that blesses showers of new life everywhere. (36) (4)

khudhaa k dhar hamaa haalasath haazaro naazira

Akaalpurakh is omnipresent at every place under all circumstances and with everyone all the times,

kujaasath dheedhaa k beenadh behar tharaf dheedhaar || 36 || 5 ||

However, where is such an eye that is capable of visualizing His presence in every nook and corner? (36) (5)

baghair aaraf maaualaa kasae najaath na-yaafatha

No one other than those dedicated to the love of God has ever been redeemed.

The 'death' has captured both the 'earth' and the 'time' with its sharp beak. (36) (6)

Goyaa says, A devotee of Akaalpurakh becomes immortal,

Because, without his meditation, no one else will ever leave a sign behind in this world. (36) (7)
