kadham aan bih k oo raahi khudhaa paimoodhaa mee baashadh

A footstep taken towards the path of Truth is a worthwhile one,

zbwny ibh ik dr izkir ^udw AwsUdw mI bwSd ] 26 ] 1 ]

zabaanae bih k dhar zikar khudhaa aasoodhaa mee baashadh || 26 || 1 ||

And the tongue that invokes and savors the meditation of His Naam is blessed. (26) (1)

bhr sUie ik mI-bInm b cSmm mwsvw nwied

behar sooe k mee-beenam b chashamam maasavaa naaeidha

Whenever and wherever I look, nothing penetrates into my eyes,

hmySw nkib aU dr dIdwie mw bUdw mI bwSd ] 26 ] 2 ]

hamaeshaa nakab oo dhar dheedhaae maa boodhaa mee baashadh || 26 || 2 ||

In fact, it is His features and impressions which pervade and are imprinted into my eyes all the times. (26) (2)

z &Yiz murSid kwiml mrw mwAlUm Sud Awi^r

z faiz murashadh kaamil maraa maaaloom shudh aakhira

It is the blessing of a complete and true Guru that made me aware (of this reality),

ik dwiem murdim dunIAw Zm-AwlUdw mI bwSd ] 26 ] 3 ]

k dhaaeim muradham dhuneeaa ghama-aaloodhaa mee baashadh || 26 || 3 ||

That the worldly people are inseparable from sorrows and worries. (26) (3)

zhy swihbidil rOSn zmIir Awiri& kwiml

zehae saahibadhil raauashan zameer aarif kaamila

How fortunate is the person with a radiant heart and soul that is thoroughly and fully enlightened,

kih bar dharagaahi hak paeshaaneee oo soodhaa mee baashadh || 26 || 4 ||

And whose forehead constantly bows in the court of Waaheguru. (26) (4)

b-kurbwnI sir kUie ibZrd v dm mzn goXw

ba-kurabaanee sar kooe bigharadh v dham mazan goyaa

O Goyaa! Keep circling around his territory expecting to offer a sacrifice without bragging about it,

eishaarathehaae chasham oo maraa faramoodhaa mee baashadh || 26 || 5 ||

I am just waiting for a simple signal and pointer of his eyes. (26) (5)
