Guru Ram Das, the asset and the treasure of the entire world

jahaa(n)baan ikaleem sidhako saphaa || 69 ||

And, is the protector/caretaker of the realm of faith and chastity. (69)

hm Az slqnq hm Az &ukrS inSW

ham az salatanat ham az phukarash nishaa(n)

He includes (in his personality) symbols of both royalty and renunciation,

igrW mwXw qr A&sir A&srW ] 70 ]

giraa(n) maayaa tar aphasar aphasaraa(n) || 70 ||

And, he is the king of kings. (70)

iz qOsi& aU sls kwisr zbW

z tauasaph uoo salas kaasir zabaa(n)

The tongues of all the three worlds, the earth, the underworld, and the skies, are incapable to describe his eclat,

Azo rubA h`m sud`s gOhr i&SW ] 71 ]

azo ruba ha'm sudha's gauahar phishaa(n) || 71 ||

And, pearls-like messages and words (metaphors and expressions) from the four Vedaas and six Shaastraas emerge from his utterances. (71)

ik h`k brguzIdS iz ^wswn ^yS

k ha'k baraguzeedhash z khhaasaan khhesh

Akaalpurakh has selected him as one of His specially close favorites,

sr A&rw^qS hm iz pwkwny ^yS ] 72 ]

sar apharaakhhatash ham z paakaane khhesh || 72 ||

And, has elevated him to even a higher position than His personal sacred souls. (72)

hmW swijdS dw bisdik zmIr

hamaa(n) saajidhash dhaa basidhak zameer

Everyone prostrates before him with a truthful and clear conscience,

ich AwAlw ich Adnw ich Sh ich &kIr ] 73 ]

cheh aalaa cheh adhanaa cheh sheh cheh phakeer || 73 ||

Whether he is high or low, a king or a mendicant. (73)
